Guatemalan Consular Service Appointment System

You can request the issuance of a Personal Identification Document (DPI), Consular Identification Card and Guatemalan Passport

  1. If you want a PASSPORT, you must present the original and a photocopy of ONE of the following documents:
    – Birth Certificate with CUI issued by RENAP, valid for no more than 6 months from the date of printing, or a valid Personal Identification Document (DPI), and payment of $65.00 in MONEY ORDER left blank.
    – If it is a passport renewal, you must present the original and a photocopy.
  2. If you want to request a Personal Identification Document (DPI), you must present the original and a photocopy of the Birth Certificate with CUI issued by RENAP, and payment of $15.00 in MONEY ORDER left blank.
  3. If you want to request a CONSULAR IDENTIFICATION CARD, you must present the original and a photocopy of ONE of the following documents: Personal Identification Document (DPI) or Birth Certificate with CUI issued by RENAP, valid for no more than 6 months from the date of printing, and payment of $25.00 in MONEY ORDER left blank.

NOTE: You must present a money order for each procedure.
We recommend presenting a proof of address, such as a utility bill for water, electricity, gas, or telephone.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED by unscrupulous individuals or institutions trying to take advantage of your good faith. The application for personal identification documents is a personal process, so you DO NOT NEED BROKERS OR INTERMEDIARIES.

This appointment service is FREE, PERSONAL, AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
