Applying for Identity Card (Cédula de Identidad)
Requirements for obtaining the Identity Card for the first time:
- Birth certificate issued by the CSE or Supreme Electoral Council.
- Be over 16 years of age
- Photocopy of any identification, such as diplomas, student ID card, passport.
- Photocopy of parents’ ID card.
Requirements for replacing the Identity Card:
- Identity card or a copy of it.
- Payment receipt issued by the authorized financial institution for 300 córdobas, such as Banpro, Bancentro, or BDF.
